Union Arena
Game Concept
Union Arena brings together characters from multiple franchises, including Bleach, Hunter x Hunter, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia, allowing players to pit heroes and villains from different universes against each other in card battles. The game emphasizes strategic deckbuilding, tactical gameplay, and crossover fun, making it appealing to both anime fans and TCG enthusiasts.
Deck Composition
Each deck contains 50 cards plus 3 Action Point (AP) cards.
Decks must include cards from the same source material, identified by a three-letter code on the card.
Up to four copies of the same card are allowed, including Special, Color, and Final Trigger cards, while other trigger types are unlimited.
Card Types
Union Arena features three main card types:
Character Cards – Represent the fighters and their abilities.
Site Cards – Provide strategic advantages or energy generation.
Event Cards – Trigger special effects or actions during gameplay.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players start by shuffling their decks, determining the first player, and drawing seven cards, with a single mulligan allowed.
Life Area Setup: Seven cards are placed face down from the top of the deck to form the life area.
Victory Conditions: Win by either removing all cards in the opponent’s life area or decking them out so they cannot draw a card.
Field Layout: Up to four-character cards can occupy the Front Line, while the Energy Line can hold up to four character or site cards. Cards are initially placed rested and cannot move from the Front Line to the Energy Line.
Turn Structure
Start Phase: Activate resting cards and ensure sufficient AP cards. Draw a card unless you are the first player on the first turn.
Movement Phase: Move characters from the Energy Line to the Front Line, managing space and removal areas strategically.
Action Phase: Play cards, use abilities, and manage AP to optimize draws and effects.
Strategic Depth
Union Arena rewards tactical thinking and synergy management. Players must consider character abilities, timing, and interactions between cards from different franchises to create powerful combos. The game is designed to be accessible for newcomers while offering layers of depth for experienced players.
Collectability and Rarity
Cards come in six rarity levels, with parallel foils (★, ★★, ★★★) offering unique artwork and collectible value.
Booster packs and preconstructed starter decks include promotional cards and limited-edition AP cards, enhancing both gameplay and collection appeal.
